Fun at the B&O museum in Baltimore

Trains have come a long way

Trains to see in every size and vintage
I wonder if they stole this idea from the stage coach,  nah
Wow a round house turn table done in hard wood.  Thomas and Percy would be proud.

All Aboard !

The old get the ticket punched trick.
I was surprised when they let him drive
OK, maybe it was just a ride

The good old days?

I wonder if this is Sir Topem Hat's car?

 Nice printer

Many different ways to have fun

Photo op after touring the cabose

Playing with the lego trains was maybe the biggest hit of all.

We find fun in everything

Parting shot

The only thing more embarrassing than walking into a Plexiglas wall
is to be photo bombed by your mom.

Doing battle with the wild life

I was told we were going to battle the deer, so I was ready, but
I was shown a better way to feed the birds and not the rest who visit our back yard.
Lucky for me, I had some good help.  There was a big surprise rock that had to go
but other than that, everything else was pretty easy

Let the work continue

We brought the loader Jack over to help out.
Almost done.  We all got a good wash down afterwards.
 The finishing touch
 Time for some inside work

I guess we'll see

The pole was easy to assemble and put up.  The rope is attached to a pulley to pull the feeders up high.

The thought is the feeders are high enough so deer can not eat, and the squirrel guard is high enough they can't jump up.  Maybe the squirrels will jump from the deer's back.
OK, lunch time.  Not sure if the squirrels will dive bomb the feeder from the trees.  In theory, the feeders are squirrel proof.
Should be interesting.  I'll wait and fill in the dirt over the concrete in a few days.  I'll get my helper back and break out all the construction equipment.  We want to do it right.

Ball cap

As he is big time into trains now, I broke out my White Pass & Yukon Rail Road cap from Alaska thinking he would think it looks very cool on my head.  I was half right, but it looked even cooler on his head.  I guess I should have bought two.

 Time for some fun
If you did not guess, he is pulling the whistle cord on the steam engine.  (loud and long)
Just out from feeding the budgies

Some where between 3 and 4 feet tall

Waiting for grilled cheese at the Silver Diner
 Mmmm, strawberry
wow, a cool kid just like me
