Snow play time

On the back hill

                                                             Bad landing on purpose

                                                                    Team photo

Last of the snow ( I hope )

Even with snow, this construction does not stop

This snowman had a short life of maybe about an hour or so.  I blame poor contruction but warm temps could have played a part.
The all done with the snow photo.

This is not that great of a photo but I took it due to the fact that the snow even landed on this poor guy.

March 25th

Punxsutawney Phil must be very proud of himself when he declared that Spring was just around the corner.  WHICH CORNER ???

This could make finding Easter eggs in the yard next Sunday a challenge.
It looks nice now and should be gone in a day or so.  But as I could not hardly see the roads this     morning on the way to work, I turned around and came back home, not going over 35 MPH.
I am not sure why my weather station tells me there is no wind and no precipitation.

Getting there is more than half the fun

Click here for a fun Metro video

A nice Saturday to

ride a train to see trains.  The tunnel makes the windows into a great mirror.  There were tigers, bears, and lions in the tunnel which got into our Metro car.  Lucky for us, they were friendly.

How did this train get in the American History building?
A new very cool transportation exhibit.

but there was more to see than just vehicles

American History

Hey, this is not a train, unless you get a bunch of them together.

Down at the station, we check out the frieght
 A 1950s Chicago elevated "L" train
Next stop Natural History.   Don't look up.

Let's see how things measure up.  A seashell
I am almost as tall as an elephants leg bone.

Break time

While some of the big folks took a rest others pretended to be a train running out of track
 Next on swamp people....
The hit of the day was pretending to be a termite flying out of his house
Time for us to bug out.

He got to pick "anything" as a reward for doing all the very yuccky medicine.

So now real surprise he added a digger to his fleet.

but this is a remote control.
the remote does it all except to pivit.

Enough work for now

This must be the last load for now
its time to play in the good old tent.  (Best twenty bucks ever)
