 and a week or so later, we went to another train place above the fire house.  
            The hat stayed on just long enough for the shutter to pop, so about 1/125th of a second

 and yet another train place

There were just too many good photos / memories to blog them all

New HO Tracks

As the this train has been up and in use since last September

 it was time to visit the train show and buy some additional track for added fun

 this track seems a little too big, but fun none the less

 Outside track complete, but the inside track has a 6.5 inch gap which requires some thinking

 Finally solved, track complete, switches wired, ready to go

 After a short while of running the trains from the control station, it was time again to
  run the trains and switches via hand.  The wheels under the table make it easy to get around it.

Back yard visitor

I was surprised last week (7-7-14) by this 6 foot (on two legs) bear

Lucky for us we did not put bear seeds in the bird feeder

I was also happy he did not try and knock the feeder to the ground

 defeated by our anti-deer bird feeder, he moves on

 going past the neighbors fence and on to the lake and has not been seen again

Happy Birthday America

We started out not too sure how much danger or noise there would be

 This one was too loud

 Later and in full controll, we light sparklers from a road flare which works great

 He was both a train and hurricane
